About me

My name is David, I'm 24 years old, I'm a game translator based in Mexico. My journey began when I was a kid, I remember when I played The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time for the first time, I couldn't understand anything about it because back then, mos of the games were only in English. That's when I grabbed my brothers dictionary and with it beside me I played through all of it, everytime a text or dialogue came in I would use it to understand it.

Little by little I started learning a lot more until I was proficient on it. I even helped my dad on his business as an interpreter at the age of 11. That's when I discovered that a lot of opportunites, media, books, games were locked behind the language barrier. I wanted to do my part on breaking that barrier so I decided that I would be a translator.
